In the last few days, Aisono Intelligent Medical Co. Ltd. (Aisono) donated personal protective equipment (PPE) to the Second Affiliated Hospital of SUSTech (Shenzhen Third People’s Hospital) through the SUSTech Education Foundation.

The Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission sought help from significant enterprises across Shenzhen to support the Second Affiliated Hospital of SUSTech in its leading role in fighting the battle against COVID-19 in Shenzhen. Aisono sourced some medical-grade PPE and immediately donated it to the Second Affiliated Hospital of SUSTech through the SUSTech Education Foundation.

Aisono Chairman Sun Xi said, “We hope to provide more support to front-line medical staff, as we all work together against COVID-19.”

Aisono is a high-tech enterprise that integrates medical service robots, multi-domain spherical wave ultrasound, medical imaging, AI-aided diagnosis, big data, and visualization system R&D.

The SUSTech Education Foundation has been unrelenting in its development of industry-university research platforms that support innovation-driven projects that serve society. In 2019, Aisono and SUSTech set up a joint medical robotics laboratory and established an Aisono Distinguished Professor to promote the joint laboratory.
