Tang Tao and Xia Zhihong introduced SUSTech and the Department of Mathematics
At the opening ceremony, chaired by Prof. Chen Anyue from the Department of Mathematics, Tang Tao, on behalf of SUSTech, expressed warm welcome to all the experts and scholars present and introduced the basic information about SUSTech. Besides, Prof. Xia Zhihong from the Department of Mathematics provided a description of the basic information about the Department of Mathematics.
During the symposium, Chen Mufa, Ma Zhiming, Peng Shige, Yan Jia’an and Zhen Wei’an also attended the talks held by the Department of Mathematics, offering valuable advice for its development.
The symposium provided a platform for more than 100 probability theory scholars to conduct exchanges learn from each other, while at the same time allowing guests to know more about SUSTech.
