Earlier this week, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) welcomed a delegation from the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN HABITAT). UN HABITAT experts Ananda Weliwata (Urban Economy and Finance Branch) and Zhang Wei joined SUSTech Communications and Public Relations Office Director Zhang Ling, School of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean Chen Yuehong and Political Education and Research Center Director Wang Dejun. Other senior officials from SUSTech were also in attendance.
At the meeting, University Council Member Zhang Ling welcomed the delegation from UN HABITAT.
Both sides talked about the Bay Area City Competitiveness Index and SUSTech’s role in promoting the dual development opportunities of Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area.
