On January 22, 2021, the Office of Communication and Public Relations (CPR) of the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held its annual conference for campus media relations professionals. University Council Vice Chairperson Fengliang LI, Director of the CPR Ling ZHANG, heads of related departments, and representative professors attended the meeting.

Awards were presented at the meeting, including Best Official Account, Best Information Officer, and Best Communication Unit.

Fengliang LI extended his gratitude to everyone involved for their hard work and contribution to the publication work of SUSTech. He reviewed the publication work in 2020 and proposed recommendations for 2021. He emphasized that the primary goal is to make the University better known to society and the world.

Ling ZHANG spoke about the work of CPR in 2020. This was mainly focused on SUSTech’s anti-epidemic efforts and the celebration of the 10^th anniversary. He also expressed his hope that everyone could better promote the University in the coming year.

In the meeting, various other awards were presented to show appreciation for all the hard work done by the staff throughout the year.

The annual meeting analyzed the new opportunities and challenges in the work of promoting SUSTech and specifies the work plan for the coming year. The University has been attaching great importance to the promotion work and holds training seminars for the staff every year. After years of hard work, a promotion team has been established, making its contribution to the progress of the University.
