On April 19, Dang LI, president of the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs (CAWE), Hong JIANG, Chairperson of the University Council and the Education Foundation of Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), and others attended the “CAWE Visits SUSTech” event held at SUSTech.

Hong JIANG gave a keynote speech titled “Education, Career, and Vocation; A Brief Discussion on Women’s Growth.” She stated that today’s society pays attention to women’s growth, and women’s growth profoundly affects the level of social development. She explored in depth how women can realize their life values at different stages of life and how to better handle the relationship between self and career, self and the world, from the three dimensions of “education as confidence,” “career as foundation,” and “vocation as passion.”

Dang LI highly praised the rapid and high-quality development of SUSTech. She stated that this event aims to lead outstanding entrepreneurs to gain an in-depth understanding of SUSTech and to enhance communication among entrepreneurs, and between enterprises and the university. As women age, advance in their careers, and accumulate social experience, the confidence they display should be comprehensive, both inside and out. Female entrepreneurs should especially demonstrate courage and responsibility as their core strengths. 

The entrepreneurs also visited the education achievements exhibition to learn in detail about SUSTech’s educational development.
