Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) saw the Department of Mathematics hold an undergraduate work conference to conduct special research and discussion on undergraduate teaching and graduation. Vice Provost and Director of Teaching Affairs Huang Kefu came to the meeting, where the Student Affairs Committee of the Department of Mathematics was announced.

There were two parts of the conference. One part was about students, and the other was about teaching and learning. The conference statistically analyzed the situation of its graduates to work out how to better prepare the students. They also summarized their work of the 2018-19 autumn semester, and a number of student committees and teaching credit committees were announced.

The conference made arrangements for further steps to improve their teachers’ understanding of student work. It played a positive role in furthering undergraduate work of the Department of Mathematics.
