National Day Film Festival kicks off

Earlier this week, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) took advantage of the pleasant evening weather to host an open air film festival to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of The People’s Republic of China. Students, faculty members and their families enjoyed the classic Chinese film, Heroic Children.

The audience was deeply moved by the film. Students took important messages from the film that relate to their studies and desire to become the future leaders of the new era. SUSTech is committed to the cultivation of first-class talents, and will play more films that support the broader mission of reform and innovation for higher education in China.

This is just one event as part of SUSTech’s activities for the 70th anniversary of the founding of The People’s Republic of China. Several other activities will take place in the lead-up to the National Day holiday, with the view to inspire the entire SUSTech community.
