On the afternoon of March 15, 2021, Yulan ZHANG, Deputy Mayor of Linyi City, Shandong Province, and her delegation visited the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).

Yulan ZHANG gave a brief speech on the history and current state of affairs of Linyi City. She praised SUSTech for its rapid growth in such a short period of time and looks forward to both sides cooperating in the future. She said that their top-notch talents and innovative approach towards technology will help to enhance Linyi’s development.

SUSTech President Qikun XUE said that the University takes pride in serving society and promoting scientific and technological developments all over China. He noted that SUSTech will strengthen its relations and cooperation with Linyi City and make progress in areas such as education and research.

Yulan ZHANG was accompanied by the heads of relevant departments from Linyi City. Siqi CHEN, Director of the Office of Party Affairs and Administration, Ling ZHANG, Director of the Office of Communication and Public Relations (CPR), and heads of related departments such as the Technology Transfer Center (TTC) and the Office of Admission also attended the meeting.
