SIQSE holds open day on campus

On July 3, faculty members and students of the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) attended the open day event held by the Shenzhen Institute for Quantum Science and Engineering (SIQSE).

Professor Dapeng YU, Dean of SIQSE and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), attended the event.

The event was held in strict compliance with epidemic prevention and control measures. All participants had to provide a negative nucleic acid test result within 72 hours of the event.

Dapeng YU gave a speech at the event and encouraged students to devote themselves to science and technology and assist in the development of national quantum technology. Afterward, the faculty members and students visited the Futian Technology Innovation Center.
