From 28 to 29, November, 2015, South China 1 st Outstanding Young Scientist Summit Protein Science was held by Department of Biology at SUSTC and Shenzhen Biomedicine Promotion Association. About 20 outstanding young experts and scholars from SUSTC, Peking Unversity, Tsinghua University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Zhejiang Unvierstiy and other institutes from local attened the above meeting.

Prof. Tang Tao, Vice President of SUSTC, delivered a welcome speech and made an introduction of the university to the experts and scholars. Dr. Guo Liangbo, from the Shenzhen Scientific and Technological Innovation Committee, introduced the talent attracting policy and the local key disciplines and support direction of 13th Five Year Plan. He hoped that the both sides could enhance cooperation and communication in the science and technology industry.
