A delegation from Hainan University, led by President Li Baojian, visited SUSTC. SUSTC President Shiyi Chen, vice president Qin Zheng, vice president Professor Chuanyue Wu warmly welcomed the delegation and held a meeting with the visitors. Directors from related departments attend the above meeting.

President Shiyi Chen extended a cordial welcome on behalf of the university to the delegation. Chen introduced the school orientation, subject construction, talent recruitment plan, student education objective, scientific research and other situation to the members of the delegation. Chen also pointed out that the two sides could strengthen the cooperation by making full use of the complementary disciplines, for Hainan University has formed its own characteristics and advantages in the field of agriculture and ocean science.

President Li appreciated the warm welcome and hoped the two sides could cooperate in the scientific research in the future.
