On the morning of December 31, 2015, Zheng Ke, Minister of Organization Department of Shenzhen Municipality headed a delegation to SUSTC. Council Chairman Li Ming, President Chen Shiyi, Vice President Qin Zheng, Vice President Wu Chuanyue, Deputy Director Han Wei and Chief Operating Officer Lu Chun met the delegation together with directors of relevant departments.

The delegation visited the sand table showcasing SUSTC development plan, department of Chemistry and the laboratory of Electrical and Electronic Engineering department.

On behalf of SUSTC, Chen Shiyi expressed welcome to the delegation and also gave an introduction to the target, education philosophy, enrollment model and R&D progress made in SUSTC. He stated that SUSTC need strong support from the government, both on the Talent Introduction and housing.
