Last weekend saw the Department of Earth and Space Sciences (ESS) at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) host a seminar on Space Geodesy and Global Changes in Applied Science. More than 60 experts from across mainland China and around the world travelled to SUSTech to attend the conference.
Firstly, Academician and ESS head Chen Xiaofei briefly introduced the Department of ESS. He focused on professional development and the strength of the faculty.
21 reports were made by participating experts on a variety of different topics. They also discussed the latest research progress in geodesy.
The seminar provided new horizons and new ideas for research and promoted academic exchanges at home and abroad.
