Recently, Southern University of Science and Technology students and faculty members traveled to Huawei’s new R&D base in Songshan Lake, Dongguan. They learned about their corporate culture, and were taught about their communication technology and specific business projects.

SUSTech alumni shared their own thoughts about their time at Huawei with the students, and provided practical career planning suggestions to the students. Class of 2017 Hu Wenxuan and Class of 2018 Yu Naishen answered many questions from students, who took much from the experience.

The Employment Guidance Center at the Office of Student Affairs will organize more industry-university exchange activities to help SUSTech to better understand the situation at different enterprises and industry information. It also helps the students prepare for transitioning to a professional career.
