Alumni Association holds third meeting

The Alumni Association of Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held its council meeting, welcoming SUSTech President Chen Shiyi, SUSTech University Council Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang and other key university leaders to the meeting. Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang chaired the meeting.

The Alumni Association Council went over the work of the previous academic year and the plan for the upcoming academic year. They also looked at the previous and future work of the Alumni Association branches in Singapore and Hong Kong. The Alumni Association Council also considered and adopted a wide range of management proposals.

President Chen affirmed the achievements of the SUSTech Alumni Association since its establishment. He pointed out that the ever-growing group of alumni is an inexhaustible force for promoting SUSTech with confidence and determination. Alumni associations are emotional bridges and ties between alumni and their alma mater.

Alumni associations should follow a service model by improving the interconnectedness of the alumni model and inherit the innovative SUSTech culture. They hoped to link up alumni around the world through innovative activities and promote the common development for SUSTech and its alumni.
