Earlier this month, the Chinese University Taekwondo Championships took place in Hunan Province and Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) sent its team to compete for the second time in its history. Former team captain Chen Du fought through many provincial champions to earn his place on the podium with a 3rd place in the 58 kilogram category.
The Chinese University Taekwondo Championships are sponsored by the Chinese University Sports Association and the Yueyang Municipal Sports Bureau. It brought high-level sports teams from universities and colleges across China.
