17 SUSTech Upcoming Graduates Got Early Offers from Huawei

On the afternoon of October 29, 2016, 17 undergraduates of Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), class of 2013, signed contracts with Huawei. Majoring in physics, electrical and electronic engineering and computer sciences and engineering, etc., they will graduate next year.

 

This summer many students at SUSTech were enrolled as interns by Huawei through applications and interview, and gained high recognition. After several rounds of selections and interviews, 17 students got offers from Huawei. Sources said three graduates enrolled in 2011 and 2012 joined Huawei. They have solid professional foundation, and are more competitive with outstanding English proficiency, broad vision and the experience of practicing at renowned enterprises.

On September 5, Huawei’s only presentation in Shenzhen took place at SUSTech. Zhu Haipei, President of IT R&D, Huawei, spoke highly of SUSTech’s students. “Huawei likes SUSTech’s students very much, because they have outstanding comprehensive quality and huge potential. Most importantly, many have the R&D level of postgraduates, we will come back to recruit interns next March and visit SUSTech every year!” said the HR President of Huawei.
