On November 15, 2016, Shuren College, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) signed a cooperation agreement with EIC Education Shenzhen at Lecture Hall 111 of the library of SUSTech. Huang Limin, Dean of Shuren College; Hou Chunhui, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Shuren College; Guo Pei, Deputy General Manager of the Overseas Business Division and Director of the Product Center, EIC Education; Zhou Shuqiong, General Manager of EIC Education Shenzhen and other executives attended the signing ceremony.

This was the first time that the college signed a cooperative agreement with a renowned external enterprise, as well as an important leg of EIC Education’s journey of “education support”. The cooperation aims to arouse students’ learning enthusiasm and involve them in more research and social events. The cooperation will cover internship and employment base co-construction, educational and teaching resources sharing, co-creation of production, learning and research results, and setup of exclusive scholarships. The scholarships target the college’s students, and include the “EIC Best Student Scholarship” and “EIC Overseas Study Scholarship” with a total amount of 48,000 yuan.

At the signing ceremony, Huang presented the plaque of “SUSTech Shuren College Employment & Internship Base” to EIC Education, and signed a cooperative agreement with EIC Education Shenzhen on behalf of the college.

Founded on September 9, 2013, Shuren College has 683 undergraduate students in four grades, the most among SUSTech’s six colleges, covering all majors of SUSTech. The college has a strong academic atmosphere. The college’s branded events such as Shuren Sharing Salon, Shuren Innovation & Entrepreneurship Salon and Shuren Music Salon have promoted the all-round development of students.

Following the signing ceremony, Guo gave a lecture entitled “Thinking of Prestigious University-Show Your Best”. The lecture received a strong response and achieved a great success.
