ZTE Holds Signing Ceremony at SUSTech, Recruits 7 undergraduates on the spot

On April 25th 2017, ZTE came to SUSTech to hold a graduate signing ceremony at the Student Affairs Center. After a written examination, interview, re-examination, physical examination and a series of assessments, 7 undergraduate students from SUSTech were hired by the corporation, a major telecommunications multinational headquartered in Shenzhen.

ZTE – the world’s leading provider of integrated communications solutions is a large public communications company listed in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, that provides innovative technology and product solutions for telecom operators and enterprise customers in more than 160 countries and regions. In August 2016, ZTE was ranked in the top 150 of the “2016 China Enterprise 500” index.

ZTE’s Wireless Product Management department manager and 5G technical expert Yu Hongbo, ZTE Human Resources department Campus recruitment director Han Zhiqi and the SUSTech Student Work department all attended the signing ceremony.

Since September 2016, the Student Work department, the Communist Youth League and the Employment Guidance center actively engage in exploring the job market and business contacts with the goal of providing internships and employment opportunities to SUSTech’s graduates. This contract with ZTE not only shows the excellent quality and outstanding ability of the students, but also further strengthens the mutually beneficial relationship between our school and ZTE. A ZTE official said they are planning to set up permanent recruitment units at SUSTech, with the hope of connecting with more brilliant minds from the university.
