Over the weekend, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held its annual Welcome Concert for the newest group of undergraduate students. The Class of 2023 enjoyed many performances, along with SUSTech Vice President Lu Chun and representatives of the faculty, parents and residential colleges.

With warm songs echoing throughout Runyang Stadium, students took the opportunity to use different art forms to express themselves and their understanding of growth at university.

The Zhiren College Chinese Folk Orchestra played several songs that washed over the audience, filling their soul with joy on the eve of the National Day holiday.

The CG Street Dance Club from the Xili Campus of Shenzhen University was invited to perform, and their unique visual impact demonstrated the collective power of dreams.

Our international students were represented by Cambodian students who sang a gorgeous love song, while our own street dance club gave an enthralling performance about the impact of the faculty members. Throughout the evening, there were various activities and competitions to keep students interested and involved.

Zhicheng College provided a final chorus for the party. For the Class of 2023, their new journey has begun with a more beautiful image of their time at SUSTech and in Shenzhen.
