Earlier this week, University of Toronto Director of Admissions Ken Withers led a delegation to Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). He was joined by the founder and CEO of Columbia International College Clement Chan. They met with SUSTech University Council Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang and other SUSTech officials.
SUSTech University Council Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang welcomed the visitors and provided a briefing into SUSTech, highlighting its commitment to establishing itself as a high-level research university. He pointed out that SUSTech has always pursued a global and innovative outlook to match Shenzhen’s goals, and he hoped that SUSTech would be able to cooperate with the University of Toronto.
University of Toronto Director of Admissions Ken Withers thanked SUSTech for his reception, and acknowledged the numerous similarities between SUSTech and the University of Toronto. He shared his experience in adapting innovative methods in student recruitment, such as big data analysis and digital marketing, and welcomed SUSTech students and scholoars to Toronto.
Founder and CEO of Columbia International College Clement Chan congratulated SUSTech on its rapid development. He anticipated considerable collaboration with the Affiliated Education Group of SUSTech in the future.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited the 3D campus construction planning sand table, before going on a campus tour.
