Over the weekend, Shuli College held its first Tutor Fun Run for the 2019-2020 academic year through campus, with nearly 150 tutors and their students taking part.

Shuli College Academic Vice Dean and Professor Hong Wei at Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) emphasized the important of physical exercise as part of improving their mental and emotional well-being.

Once the whistle blew, everyone started their morning run from Green Pine Stadium before heading past the Faculty Apartments through the Lakeside dormitories and back to Green Pine Stadium past the Sports Center.

Shuli College has been running its Tutor Fun Run on a regular basis since October 2017. Every year, the students define various aspects of the morning run to improve student’s interest in the run. Such an approach enhances the community feeling within Shuli College between the tutors and students.
