On May 25th 2017, the annual “Top Ten Graduates” Selection Ceremony was held in the first scientific research lecture hall. Li Fengliang, Vice-Chairperson of the University Council, Director of the Hospital Han Wei, Associate Vice President of International Affairs and Chief Operating Officer Lu Chun, the chair professors of the departments concerned and other university leaders attended the ceremony. Various activities were organized by the student union departments of Zhiren College and Shuren College.

The award process included the candidates’ video presentations and their live acceptance speech, while the judges also intervened. The acceptance speeches were brilliant. The 14 candidates recommended by the academy drew random presentation orders, and took to the stage to defend their projects, report on their respective research, and discuss community activities and social welfare practice. When confronted to the judges questions, they were comfortable, often giving witty and humorous replies, highlighting the unique charm of the students.

Finally after counting all the votes from the previous teachers and students and the online votes, the judges gave the results in front of the audience to select the 2017 “Top Ten Graduates” who were:
Bao Shuhan, Meng Fei, Feng Yuanxiang, Lin Rongyu, Wu Guanlong , Li Bing, Zhou Zehua, Shi Yuan, Geng Mingmeng, Liu Shizhuo.
