SUSTech signed to co-build Qianhai International Medical Center

Last week, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) signed an agreement with Qianhai Investment Control Co., Taikang Health Investment Co, and Cedars Sinai Medical Center to build the Qianhai International Medical Center. Preparatory Office of Affiliated Hospitals Director Wang Pengfei attended the signing ceremony.

The four parties will work together to jointly promote the Qianhai International Medical Center and the first-class medical resources that are entering Qianhai Zone. It will also see the development of a world-class international medical institution integrated with medicine, education, research, and intelligent medicine.

SUSTech will provide its unique advantages in medical teaching & scientific research to help the Qianhai International Medical Center meet the benchmarks of similar international medical centers around the world. SUSTech will also support the promotion of high-end medical care in Shenzhen and boost the development of Shenzhen into a regional & national medical center. Shenzhen has continued to find new methods of reform for its medical & health system, promoting the high-quality development of health care in the city.

Taikang Group vice president and Taikang Health Industry Investment Group CEO Liu Tingjun visited SUSTech and met with President Chen Shiyi.
