Earlier this week, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) welcomed a delegation from Hong Kong’s Shenzhen Liaison Office, led by Deputy Director Guo Zhenglin. The delegation met with SUSTech Secretary-General Chen Siqi and other relevant officials, as part of a discussion about discipline development and research.

SUSTech Secretary-General Chen Siqi welcomed the delegation and gave a briefing about SUSTech, focusing on the development of SUSTech’s key disciplines, talent pipelines, and scientific research achievements. He hoped that the Shenzhen Liaison Office would work with SUSTech in the development of its research and talent pipeline.

Shenzhen Liaison Office Deputy Director Guo Zhenglin spoke highly of SUSTech’s achievements in discipline development and educational research. He anticipated that both sides would work together cooperatively in realizing their complementary advantages to jointly contribute to the development of Shenzhen.
