On December 12, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) welcomed a delegation from Zhejiang Lab. Zhejiang Lab Party Committee Deputy Secretary Zhao Xinlong led the delegation and was greeted by SUSTech University Council Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang and Human Resources Director Chen Zhifeng. High-ranking officials from both Zhejiang Lab and SUSTech also attended the meeting and discussions.

Human Resources Director Chen Zhifeng welcomed the group from the Zhejiang Lab, providing detail on SUSTech’s talent pipelines and overseas talent introduction mechanisms. He hoped that SUSTech and the Zhejiang Lab would cooperate in the future through various academic and research exchanges.

Zhejiang Lab Party Committee Deputy Secretary Zhao Xinlong congratulated SUSTech on its years of progress, noting that there is a lot for Zhejiang Lab to learn from SUSTech. He also hoped to develop long-term academic and research cooperation with SUSTech.

Zhejiang Lab is a research institute established jointly by the Provincial Government of Zhejiang, Zhejiang University, and Alibaba Group in September 2017. It has the core mission of scientific and technological advancement in artificial intelligence (AI) & network information and is to be built as a world-class basic research center.
