The Department of Materials Science and Engineering’s Specialty Briefing was successfully hold at lecture hall (faculty and research building I) on May 17, 2015. Professor Cheng Xin, the Director of Department of Materials Science and Engineering,presided over the meeting.Professor Xu Baomin, professor Tian Yanqing, associate professor Guo Xugang,Liang Yongye, Lu Zhouguang, Tang Bin, Tian Leilei, Yan Ming, Yu Peng, Assistant professor Liu Shuangyi, Tang Yuanyuan, Ren Fuzeng and Over 150 students from grade of 2013 and 2012 attended the meeting.

Professor Cheng Xin introduced the basic and development situations as well as the Department’s curriculum provision, teaching specialty, basic course laboratories, and future development keys of MSE. Each professor simply introduced their research fields. In the following Q&A, professors gave detailed answers about students’ concerned questions. After the meeting, professors and students had face-to-face communications in several groups and talked deeply about the majors of MSE.
