On January 3, the Education Foundation of Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech Education Foundation) held the 2^nd meeting of its 1^st Investment Committee (Investment Committee). SUSTech University Council Chairperson Guo Yurong and Investment Committee Director Meng Yang attended the meeting with other Investment Committee members. Education Foundation Secretary-General Tu Ronghui chaired the meeting.

SUSTech University Council Chairperson Guo Yurong congratulated the Investment Committee for their work in the past, providing recommendations for their efforts in 2020. She emphasized that maintaining the capital in the account is vital for the Investment Committee, so they should continue to invest appropriately in the future.

Investment Committee Director Meng Yang said that the Investment Committee would continue with its neutral and objective attitude to investment. It would aim to increase revenue and strive to contribute to the development of the SUSTech Education Foundation and SUSTech.

SUSTech Education Foundation Secretary-General Tu Ronghui said that the investment work in 2019 has exceeded 10 million RMB for the first time. The Investment Committee is inseparable from the Education Foundation for its broad thinking and professional guidance.

SUSTech Education Foundation Project Commissioner Chen Li summarized the investment situation in 2019. Education Foundation Investment Director Lin Qiong spoke about the Education Foundation’s asset allocation in 2020.
