In recent weeks, Associate Professor Yu WANG from the Center for Social Sciences was invited to serve on the editorial board of the high-impact academic journal Water Alternatives. He is the first Chinese scholar to serve on the editorial board since its establishment.
Water Alternatives takes an interdisciplinary approach to water resources research, looking at it from perspectives on international relations, public policy, law, and other fields of the social sciences. The journal focuses on water politics and water policy issues in multiple dimensions, including assessment of the power structures and social relations behind water allocations, utilization, and transformation of water resources.
Previously, Associate Professor Yu WANG had held an editorial position at the International Journal of Water Resources Development.
