On April 30, the Nanshan District Government Inspection Team came to Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) to check on its readiness for the return of senior students to campus in the coming weeks. The Team was made up of members from the District Education Bureau, Health Bureau, and other units across the District.

SUSTech Secretary-General Siqi CHEN welcomed the Team and guided them around campus. He showed the Team across many departments. The Team inspected the student dormitories, listened to reports and, examined documents. They also assessed the management of the return of students, environmental facilities, biomaterial security, personnel education and training, and emergency response. The Team fully affirmed the epidemic prevention and control plans of SUSTech, as well as its preparation for students returning to campus.

SUSTech has adhered to the principle of safety first for its community. It has held fast to the line of “never allowing an outbreak to enter or occur on campus.” It has developed a series of policies for the prevention and control of epidemics on campus.
