On June 9, the 13^th occasion of International Archives Day, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) launched the 2020 SUSTech Archives Festival & Historical Picture and Archives Knowledge Exhibitio nin the walkway of the Lynn Library

University Council Chairperson Yurong GUO, University Council Vice Chairperson Fengliang LI, Secretary-General Siqi CHEN, Communications & Publication Relations Director Ling ZHANG and Human Resources Director Zhifeng CHEN were among the leaders who attended the launch, along with other members of the SUSTech community.

The exhibition is the first of its kind for SUSTech. It consists of many different archival photos from the first ten years of SUSTech’s development. The mixture of historical photos, commencement & convocation ceremonies, and other historical moments provides a small window into SUSTech’s history.

University Council Chairperson Yurong GUO said that the exhibition provides a fantastic opportunity for the entire SUSTech community to learn from the past as SUSTech develops into the future.

The exhibition was led by the Comprehensive Archives, in conjunction with the Communications & Public Relations Office, the Human Resources Office, the Student Affairs Office and the Graduate School. There will be more activities to support SUSTech’s archival collection to promote the spirit and culture of SUSTech.
