On July 15, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) and Qinghai Normal University (QHNU) held a series of collaborative activities to develop deeper cooperations for 2020. Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Executive Vice President Deming MA, Vice President Chengfu YE, and Haixing ZHAO represented QHNU. Planning and Development Directiong Susheng WANG and Preparatory Office of Affiliated Hospitals Director Pengfei WANG went on behalf of SUSTech.

In July 2019, both universities signed a strategic cooperation agreement. It seeks to fully implement the Framework Agreement of Strategic Cooperation between the Shenzhen People’s Government and the Qinghai Provincial People’s Government. Following the agreement, both universities will carry out a series of activities that commits them to work together to mutually beneficial outcomes while serving nationally strategic industries.

Both universities said that they would use this opportunity for more profound exchanges and promote their mutual development. Department of Computer Science and Engineering Professor Shuanghua YANG and School of Environmental Science and Engineering Professor Hailong LI both gave lectures to the QHNU community. They also swapped ideas with experts and scholars.
