On November 13, the SUSTech Songwriting Contest in celebration of the 10^th Anniversary of SUSTech was held. Director of Office of Communications & Public Relations Ling ZHANG came to the contest as a special guest. He was joined by heads of colleges and over a hundred faculties and students. The competition was live streamed. 

Well-known artists were invited to be the contest judges, including Vice Chairman of Shenzhen Dramatist’Association Ruoming ZENG and some professional singers.

The competition went through three stages, including lyrics, composition, and singing. After three rounds of collection and evaluation, ten songs were selected as the best ones in the competition.

The best work awards went to See You on that Day, SUSTech and Me, and Prime. The best lyric awards went to Ring the Bell of the Future, SUSTech and Me, and Meet with SUSTech. Three songs won the Best Composer award, See You on that Day, What SUSTechers Look Like, and Song of SUSTech. The best singing award was received by SUSTech and Me, Meet with SUSTech, and Prime.
