From November 24 to 27, the 2020 China Symposium on Campus Construction  was held in Shenzhen, with SUSTech as the co-host. Over 400 senior leaders of the infrastructure and planning department of universities nationwide and experts attended the meeting.

The symposium was organized by the National Center for Schooling Development Programme (CSDP). The focus of the symposium includes university  infrastructure, campus planning, green campus, and smart campus. Different cases of Sun Yat-sen University, Tsinghua University, Beijing Forestry University, and  Southern University of Science and Technology were discussed in the symposium.

SUSTech Vice President Chun LU expressed great gratitude to CSDP’s support.. He expected that the experts could contribute the insights to promote the connotative development of university infrastructure, and provide guidance and assistance for the construction and development of SUSTech.

 On the morning of November 27, over 300 participants visited SUSTech. They said that the campus planning, architecture, and landscape of SUSTech impressed them a lot, especially the second phase of dormitory, SUSTech University Center, and International Convention Center.
