On December 11, the launching ceremony of SUSTech First Food Culture Festival was held in banyan square, with University Council Vice Chairperson Fengliang LI and Vice President Chun LU attending the ceremony.
The festival was organized by University Catering Services Center. Four cafeterias and stores on the campus and six restaurants off campus brought their special dishes, which won great praise from students and faculty members.
On December 12, the Second Culinary Competition was held. 20 chefs from four campus cafeterias were invited to display their unique carvings and dishes. The cooking competition encouraged each chef to show their exceptional skills in preparing delicious and tasty dishes. The judges scored each dish on taste, texture and perception, and other criteria.
