On December 17, the launching ceremony of SUSTech Aeroengine Charity Fund was held in SUSTech. SUSTech University Council Chairperson Yurong GUO, Vice Chairman of SUSTech Education Foundation Shiyi CHEN, Secretary General  of SUSTech Education Foundation Qin YE, Chair Professor of SUSTech Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering Xiaohua GAN, representatives of enterprises and social community attended the ceremony.

Yurong GUO extended great gratitude to all the supporters of the aero-engine field and believed that we would gather more talents in this field for the development of China’s aviation technology with SUSTech Aerospace and Astronautics Propulsion Research Institute. She said that the establishment of the Aero-Engine Charity Fund is the first step. The University will embrace more enthusiastic people to support the development of the Aero-Engine Charity Fund, cultivate more talents, and contribute to the dream of a powerful China with science and technology.

The Aero-Engine Charity Fund will join forces from all walks of life to support the continuous progress of related disciplines construction, scientific research, academic exchanges, team training, education public welfare, industry-university research cooperation, so as to continuously empower the cause of strengthening the country with science and technology.
