On May 18, 2021, An HONG, Vice President of Jinan University, and his delegation visited the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). Yusheng ZHAO, Acting Vice President of SUSTech and Dean of the SUSTech Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies, welcomed the guests as both parties held discussions.

At the meeting, Yusheng ZHAO spoke about the current state of affairs concerning the SUSTech Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies. He said that the Academy is committed to promoting the cross-integration of frontier science research and discipline development. He added that they could promote scientific development, interdisciplinary integration, and innovation in advanced technologies by collaborating research from different disciplines and professional backgrounds.

An HONG gave a brief summary about Jinan University and its future plans. He spoke highly of the achievements of SUSTech and the SUSTech Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies. He hopes that both universities will continue to work together and strengthen their relationship in the future.
