Recently, the official website of Nature Index released its 2021 table results based on journals for the period 2019-20. The Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) ranked 1^st in the global Top Ten Rising Stars list.

Compared with its 2020 table, SUSTech’s natural index fractional measurement value (FC value) has increased from 128.09 to 221.61, and its international university ranking has risen from 88^th to 41^st place. For the domestic university ranking, the University has risen from 19^th to 11^th place.

The Nature Index was first released in November 2014. It is a database that records the number of papers published in the most influential research-oriented academic journals in the world. These papers are issued by the world’s top institutions and countries and takes into account their scientific output.
