On June 28, OpenCV.org reported on the contribution of the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) undergraduates on barcode recognition.
Under the guidance of Associate Professor Shiqi YU, undergraduates Junhao LIANG, Tianqi WANG, and Zhongxia SUN from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) developed algorithms for OpenCV for their lack of barcode support. Developers and researchers will use the open-source code they contributed through OpenCV.
OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) is an open-source computer vision and machine learning software library. OpenCV was built to provide a common infrastructure for computer vision applications and accelerate machine perception in commercial products. OpenCV makes it easy for businesses to utilize and modify the code. The library has more than 2500 optimized algorithms, including a comprehensive set of classic and state-of-the-art computer vision and machine learning algorithms.
