On September 17, 2021, Qingtang LI, Deputy General Manager of the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), and his delegation visited the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).

Qikun XUE, President of SUSTech, and Xueming YANG, Acting Vice President, welcomed the guests as they held in-depth discussions.

At the meeting, Acting Vice President Xueming YANG spoke about the current state of affairs of the University. Yanbin MENG, Assistant to the General Manager of CNNC, familiarized everyone with a brief summary of the background of CNNC.

President Qikun XUE said that SUSTech and CNNC have many opportunities for cooperation and look forward to the multi-level collaboration between the two parties in areas such as scientific and technological innovation, medicine and health, and talent training.

Deputy General Manager Qingtang LI acknowledged the high-quality development of SUSTech over the past ten years. He hopes that both sides can make significant achievements and advances in the fields of talent training and technology transfer.

After the meeting, Qingtang LI and his delegation also visited the SUSTech exhibition of development and achievements to learn more about the history of the University.
