Jiaozi is a traditional food in China, especially in northern China. As one of the country’s most representative dishes, jiaozi is loved by many Chinese people and consumed during important Chinese holidays and festivals.

As the New Year and Chinese Spring Festival are coming close, the Center for Language Education of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, together with SUSTech Global and SUSTech Language Commission, hosted a themed event, “Make Jiaozi & Learn Chinese”, on the evening of December 28.

At this event, international faculty and students not only enjoyed making and tasting delicious jiaozi together, but also learned about the Chinese Spring Festival and the culture of jiaozi. It is a great memory for a lot of Chinese people, and hope the evening provided an excellent experience for the international faculty and students, too.
