Fall 2017 Semester Classes Start at SUSTech
| 09/12/2017

On September 11 2017, SUSTech students officially began their Fall 2017 semester classes. University leaders and heads of departments visited the campus and classrooms to ensure that the new semester was starting out in an orderly manner.

SUSTech President Chen Shiyi led the field visit to the No.1 Teaching Building and the No.1 Research Building, and witnessed classes being taught and facilities being used. He asked the relevant departments to promptly identify and solve any problems they faced, and strive to provide better teaching conditions and atmosphere.

Chen stressed that departments should be careful and meticulous in their work this new semester. For teaching, it is necessary to strengthen management, standardize the teaching and arrange courses to enhance the comprehensive aspect and international outlook of the class. Concerning campus infrastructure, it is important to learn how top overseas universities manage, so that SUSTech can become more professional and standardized, and provide a safe, green, and comfortable learning and living environment to the students and professors.
