The opening ceremony of the “Qingrui Training Program” (Young Elite Training Program) for the Class of 2025 was held at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), jointly initiated by Ping An Group and SUSTech. The program focuses on the development needs of mid-level key management personnel at Ping An Group and aims to cultivate versatile management talents aligned with the era’s development through university-enterprise collaborative empowerment.

Li JIN, Vice President of SUSTech, and Jianfeng HU, Party Secretary of Ping An Insurance (Group), attended the opening ceremony and delivered opening remarks.

Li JIN expressed a warm welcome to the Ping An “high-potential talent” trainees. He stated that the joint launch of the “Qingrui Training Program” by both parties is not only a deep integration of finance and technology, but also a mutual exchange of academic resources and industry insights, as well as a forward-looking plan to jointly cultivate future interdisciplinary and strategic management talents. Every step of the leap from traditional financial services to technology-driven smart finance requires solid professional skills and a foresighted strategic vision. For this training, SUSTech will fully provide high-quality academic resources and professional teaching support, hoping that the trainees will achieve cognitive advancement and skill enhancement during this “Qingrui Journey” (Young Elite Journey), resonating personal growth with corporate development.

Jianfeng HU, focusing on the new deployments and requirements of the Party Central Committee regarding financial work, combined with the current complex and ever-changing international situation and the rapidly evolving waves of technology, emphasized that Ping An Group urgently needs to cultivate an innovative and versatile talent team. He pointed out that SUSTech has significant advantages in cutting-edge disciplines such as artificial intelligence and biomedical sciences. He hopes that the students will take this learning opportunity to broaden their international perspectives, deepen cross-disciplinary understanding, and soon grow into a core force for Ping An Group’s high-quality development, injecting new momentum into the steady advancement of China’s financial industry.

The first training session of the “Qingrui Training Program” was taught by Shuxun WANG, Chair Professor at the School of Business, SUSTech, and Jiaxing ZHANG, Chief AI Scientist at China Merchants Group. Participants from different business units of Ping An Group engaged in lively discussions on the course topics, drawing on their own work experiences.

As one of the key platforms for the industry-academia collaboration between Ping An Group and SUSTech, the “Qingrui Training Program” leverages the core strengths of both parties to actively explore a new model for cultivating high-level management talent. It aims to stimulate thinking through learning and promote action through reflection, nurturing versatile management cadres with global vision, practical skills, and innovative spirit. By complementing each other’s resources and implementing a collaborative education mechanism, the program seeks to achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes for both sides.
