From May 15 to 17, 2026, the China Sports Lottery 2026 Shenzhen Orienteering Championship, hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports and the Shenzhen Orienteering Association, opened at the Lihu Campus of Shenzhen University, and the Orienteering Team for the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) won the team championship and multiple other honors.

SUSTech’s orienteering team, composed of 11 undergraduates and coached by Xiyuan LIANG, competed alongside more than 700 orienteering athletes from across the city and ultimately won first place in the 21-year-old adult team total score, third place in the 18-year-old young adult team total score, and the Sportsmanship Award. Zhuoya HOU from Zhiren College, Funing YANG from Shude College, and Linling LIAN from the College of Engineering respectively won first place in the 21-year-old adult women’s relay race, sprint race, point race, and 100-meter orienteering race.
