Professor Li JIN, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society, and Vice President of Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), participated as a member of the Chinese delegation in a series of economic and trade exchange panels in Europe, explaining the connotations of China’s high-quality development to various sectors in Europe and discussing new opportunities for China-Europe and China-UK cooperation.

On April 21, the Chinese Mission to the European Union held the second lecture of the “China Lecture Hall” series in Brussels, specially inviting Jiantang MA, a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Standing Committee and Deputy Director of the Economic Committee, to give a special lecture on “China’s High-Quality Development and China-EU Economic and Trade Cooperation.” Former Special Representative of the Chinese Government for European Affairs Hongbo WU and Vice President Li JIN, along with other members of the expert group, attended the event. More than 150 officials from institutions such as the EU Council, European Commission, and European Parliament, as well as think tank scholars and media representatives, participated in the activity.

On April 23, the UK-China Trade Association and the British Chamber of Commerce in China jointly held a briefing on “China’s High-Quality Development and China-UK Economic and Trade Cooperation,” where Jiantang MA delivered the keynote speech, and Hongbo WU and Li JIN attended the event.

Vice President Li JIN, as a member of the Chinese delegation on this trip, participated in policy exchanges and academic dialogues with Europe, demonstrating SUSTech’s active role in promoting China’s voice and advancing international exchange and cooperation.
