The 2026 Guangdong University Student Table Tennis Team Tournament, hosted by the Guangdong Students Sports and Arts Federation, was held at the Nanhai Sports Center Gymnasium in Foshan. The Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) Table Tennis Team won second place in the Men’s Team Division A and sixth place in the Women’s Team Division A.

SUSTech’s table tennis team is led by Director Lunhong DONG from the Sports Center, with Zilin HE and Xiaoxi CHE serving as coaches. A total of 9 athletes were selected to form the team. The men’s team includes Beier LUO, a Master’s student from the College of Science; Xuchao DU, a Doctoral student from the College of Science; Linfeng LI, a Master’s student from the College of Science; Qiuyu HUANG, a Doctoral student from the College of Business; and Zheng FANG, a Doctoral student from the College of Engineering. The women’s team includes Xinran DAI, an undergraduate from Shuren College; Xinwen ZHANG, an undergraduate from Shude College; Wenjing XIE, an undergraduate from Zhicheng College; and Huiyi HE, a Doctoral student from the College of Engineering.

The SUSTech table tennis team will continue to put even more passion into training and competitions, continuously pushing their limits and striving for excellence, aiming to achieve even better results in upcoming events.
