On the afternoon of June 12, 2026, a delegation led by Shuqing XIE, Party Secretary of Xinjiang Agricultural University, visited the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) for an academic exchange. Hong JIANG, Council Chairperson of SUSTech, and other representatives, had a discussion with the guests.

Hong JIANG described the recent development of SUSTech. She noted that, in the age of artificial intelligence, Xinjiang’s development potential has become increasingly prominent. She hopes that both sides can further strengthen cooperation and exchanges to jointly contribute to major national strategies.

Shuqing XIE outlined the development of Xinjiang Agricultural University and expressed gratitude for the support from SUSTech. He said that he hopes both sides can deepen cooperation in areas such as discipline construction, staff exchanges, and student visits.

Shuqing XIE and his team also visited SUSTech’s achievement exhibition hall, biology-related laboratories, and residential colleges, gaining a detailed understanding of SUSTech’s operations.
