On Oct. 1st, students and faculty members gathered to watch a national flag-raising ceremony marking the 68th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on the National Day at at the main gate of the campus. University Council Vice-Chairperson Li Fengliang, director of residential colleges Han Wei attended the outdoors ceremony.

In the morning after a shower of torrential rain, faculty members and students neatly lined up on time in front of the flagpoles of the campus’ main entrance.
