The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering (EEE) at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) and Erised Semiconductor (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. held the unveiling ceremony of the “SUSTech EEE – Erised Semiconductor Joint Laboratory” at the College of Engineering. Mingwei CHEN, Dean of the College of Engineering at SUSTech, and Tingyang CHEN, Chairman of Erised, attended the event.

Unveiling Ceremony

Both parties aim to establish a long-term industry-academia-research collaboration. Relying on Erised Semiconductor’s production platform and the research capabilities of the SUSTech EEE, they will fully leverage their respective strengths to build a joint laboratory that integrates research platform development, industrial technology R&D and integration, talent cultivation, application demonstration, and achievement transformation. Together they will explore new models of university-enterprise cooperation and create a new benchmark for industry-education integration.
