On December 20, 2017, Director General Fujin Sun and Deputy Director General Zhongliang Zhao of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security (SZHRSS) visited Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). SUSTech University Council Chairperson Yurong Guo and President Shiyi Chen held a meeting with Sun at the No. 301 meeting room of the administrative building.
Guo welcomed Sun, thanking SZHRSS for its persistent support to SUSTech. She said that innovative development is essentially talent development and SUSTech’s development is inseparable from Shenzhen’s favorable talent policies.
Chen said that high-level talents are vital to SUSTech. He hoped that SZHRSS would continue to support SUSTech to promote the high-level talent introduction of Shenzhen.
Sun said that SUSTech has developed rapidly and introduced top-notch research talents, and provided strong guarantees to support introducing talents to Shenzhen and SUSTech.
At the meeting, Chuanyue Wu, Vice President of SUSTech introduced SUSTech’s governance system, features, disciplinary construction, research, faculty, student admission and training, etc. The two sides exchanged ideas on talent introduction.
In SUSTech, Sun visited the sand table, test centers, colleges, library and administrative centers of SUSTech.
